On stage at The Edinburgh Mela

The Edinburgh Mela welcomes over 30,000 people of all ages to Leith Links over the weekend of the festival. It is one of the biggest celebrations in Edinburgh's festival calendar.

Representing the Indian Ocean island of Mauritius...

and bringing to The Edinburgh Mela a pinch of Mauritian spice...
in a musical fusion of the multi cultural inspirations from the island of Mauritius

The Edinburgh Mela is an annual multi cultural festival held as part of the Edinburgh Festival and is Scotland's biggest and best celebration of world music and dance.

The Edinburgh Mela

The Edinburgh Mela is Scotland's biggest and brightest world music festival...
a diverse, internationally-reaching arts festival, which sees artists come from across the globe to entertain crowds of 30,000 locals and visitors in a two day celebration at Leith Links.


The 2015 Main stage supported by Lebara Mobile is the heart of the Mela party, 
boasting crowd-pleasing live sets from some of the biggest names in world music today...

and we are thrilled that Mike Delaitre and his band will be opening the Main stage of the 
2015 Edinburgh Mela.

today we were guests of Andy Lindsay on the mid morning show
at community radio Pulse 98.4fm

The Old Port

last night we were in Edinburgh at McSorleys
where Mike and the guys took part in a jam session.
