lionspiritmusic
lionspiritmusic originates from the Indian Ocean island of Mauritius and was formed by singer/songwriter Mike Delaitre. Coming to Scotland in 2010 opened the opportunity for Mike to cross collaborate with other musicians. His aim has been to integrate Mauritian creole and reggae, with Scottish celtic music.
The result is an original and exciting new fusion.
Mike composes and sings lyrics in Creole, English, and French. The positive messages that lie at the heart of Mikes music are carried through in the melodies, rhythms and vocals of the songs. The lyrics encourage people to stop and to think about what is going on in the world, and of the need for people to work together in
